the good news is

,,,is that I somehow did not get one of these this year, even though the deadline was two weeks ago.

... I had time this afternoon to get my tires changed.

baby news

I'm so very happy the baby arrived safely.

I'm glad my afternoon appointment cancelled on me, which leaves me free to make a visit to the hospital to see a day-old baby and her parents.

All this AND I get to go to yoga tonight

My husband sent me flowers.
My boss brought me chocolate macaroons that he made.
A friend sent me a sweet email.

I'm grateful for...

I'm grateful for the five-day forecast showing NO RAIN for the first time in months!!!

... the stranger who gave me a pen with a highlighter because my pen wasn't working. Now I have a pen/highlighter combo, thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

Winter is Over

I am so grateful that the nights are warming up, as is the soil, and it seems that Texas will have a spring and summer this year. Hooray! It's gardening outside season again!
