Yesterday, I found out how brightly colored the hummingbirds in Alaska are. Their colors are vivid and gorgeous. There were several in my neighborhood yesterday, going from deck to deck, flower to flower. I was happy that I'd put flowers on my deck already. The birds were playing and buzzing and sometimes getting very close to me... I lost track of time, while I was gazing at them in awe.
This morning, I am grateful for hummingbirds, flowers, spring, and being lost in the moment.
